The Starving Canvas

The Starving Canvas seeks to make art less static by getting it off of walls, out of traditional museums and into the lives of everyday people. TSC hopes to enrich the public visually while promoting elite artists and facilitating the sale of their original fine art through our utilitarian products. One of the first promotions TSC has developed are reusable, sturdy, double sided, full bleed totes featuring original artwork for shopping.

With the current state of our environment and the enormous plastic barges collecting in our oceans it seems only logical that many counties throughout the U.S. have adopted the “bring your own bag” policy while grocery shopping in an attempt to combat our plastic waste. The Starving Canvas is proud to promote and sell our USA products like our tote bags which help to fight the plastic pollution problem while creating an opportunity for the consumer to maintain their sense of individuality and expression.

We are actively looking for amazing artists to be involved in TSC! Please feel free to reach out via thestarvingcanvas@gmail.com. To find out more on what we require of our promoted artists follow the information in the "contact" tab above.

About the founders

Taliesin Show

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I have always loved art! Whether it be visiting the Louvre or browsing a street art book, amazing artists have always inspired me. Although I am not very artistic, my passion revolves around ideas. I found my love of Entrepreneurship after a long stint working in an office as an inside salesman. The time spent on projects like this one are far more valuable than the money made in an office.

My dream is to build a company that will make a positive impact on our world.

Angela Lee A San Francisco native, I developed an early love for drawing and art at the local Chinatown YMCA. It's my goal at The Starving Canvas to connect with talented local artists and to help them reach the community at large through TSC's durable and functional double-sided full bleed totes and through TSC's site and social media promotional efforts.
